In Georgia, Providence offers services through its wholly owned entities, Transitional Family Services, Inc., Providence Community Corrections, Inc., and LogistiCare.

Transitional Family Services, Inc. (“TFS”) began providing services to Georgia’s children in 1993, and today offers a range of family preservation services. The contracts are with the Division of Family and Children Services, Division of Mental Health, and the Department of Juvenile Justice. TFS is approved by the state to provide Wrap Around, CCFA, Homestead, Parent Aid, Early Intervention Services, and Home Evaluations. TFS is dedicated to providing quality home and community based services, empowering each family member and child to live their most productive life, and developing family centered support through qualified staff committed to serving families and children. TFS provides specialized, short-term crisis management and psychotherapeutic intervention services in the homes of clients. Utilizing a family-centered approach and specially trained staff, TFS works closely with individuals and families to overcome crises and assist in making ongoing changes. We also work to prevent the unnecessary institutionalization or placement of individuals out of the home, and to support family reunification. The "family-centered" approach requires a shift from the more traditional practice of behavioral health which focuses on the treatment of individuals alone, towards looking at the entire family system. This includes the multiple and interrelated assets and strengths as well as liabilities within and between family members, the community, and the environment in which they live.

Providence Community Corrections (PCC) is a misdemeanor probation service company, bringing twenty years of experience to our customer. Using our proven technology adapted from court administration systems used in 4000 jurisdictions nationwide, our system allows City/County officials easy and direct, real-time access to data and custom reports. Our comprehensive approach, Complete Probation increases probationer compliance and promotes positive outcomes. Our focus is with each client, at every contact, successful compliance...successful completion. Our goal is to hold a client accountable for their behaviors, positively impact their lives and enhance the community's safety and sense of well being. Our array of services includes supervision, assessments, pre-sentence investigations, rehabilitative programs, services for specific offenders, electronic monitoring, pre-trial supervision, and drug screening.

Providence Community Corrections offers a wide range of supportive services for City/County Courts and Agencies. This ranges from full service probation case management (for jurisdictions without publicly operated departments) to partial service programs that take on administrative or supplemental services as needed. This flexibility allows jurisdictions to customize their approach to fill the gaps or enhance the effectiveness of their operation.

LogistiCare has been managing non-emergency medical (NEMT) and other social service transportation programs for government agencies and managed care organization (MCOs) since 1989. LogistiCare currently is the nation’s largest and most experienced manager of Medicaid NEMT programs for state governments and MCOs, providing over 17 million NEMT trips annually in 36 states and the District of Columbia. LogsitiCare has also managed other types of human service transportation programs such as ADA paratransit, school transportation, commercial ambulance, and elderly dial-a-ride services.

LogistiCare pioneered what is known as the “brokerage” model for delivering transportation services. Under the brokerage model, the funding entity outsources the management of their transportation benefit to a professional transportation management company, usually under a full-risk capitated financial arrangement. LogistiCare’s consistent record of cost saving and service quality has been instrumental in the increasing adoption of the NEMT broker model by state Medicaid agencies and MCOs throughout the country.
