Dockside offers a range of outpatient care, including a service known as Voyage, designed for high-risk youth and their families. This intensive service teaches youth accountability and promotes their active involvement in the community. Clinicians work closely with juvenile justice system representatives, providing close monitoring of community activities as well as individual and family counseling. Youth are often referred to Voyage as an alternative to a more restrictive setting, and are given the opportunity to work their way out of the legal system and off court wardship. This community-based individualized treatment approach reduces the risk of disruptive and costly out-of-home placement. Dockside also provides the Seven Challenges Program for adolescents ages 12 to 18 who are having problems with alcohol and other drugs. This developmentally appropriate program is designed to help young people think carefully about their lives and their use of substances and to make wise, healthy decisions for themselves. The program is developmentally appropriate, holistic and has been proven to be effective through research. Multi-family group therapy is provided, along with Life Skills education, both essential to the success of the program. Other services provided by Dockside include comprehensive and targeted case management, parenting skills groups, and the Monitor Prime-based treatment program. Ross Innovative Employment Solutions (“Ross IES”) became part of the Providence network of providers in 2006 and is headquartered in Saint Clair, Michigan. Ross IES is a workforce development entity providing contract services under the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Welfare-to-Work, and state and local workforce development programs in multiple states. There are several objectives Ross IES seeks to reach while helping individuals to obtain meaningful employment. Ross IES works with job seekers to ensure that their employment opportunities are maximized, and assists devoted workers to develop and enhance their strengths. Ross IES also supports employers by connecting them with qualified workers and providing resources to retain valued workers. LogistiCare has been managing non-emergency medical (NEMT) and other social service transportation programs for government agencies and managed care organization (MCOs) since 1989. LogistiCare currently is the nation’s largest and most experienced manager of Medicaid NEMT programs for state governments and MCOs, providing over 17 million NEMT trips annually in 36 states and the District of Columbia. LogsitiCare has also managed other types of human service transportation programs such as ADA paratransit, school transportation, commercial ambulance, and elderly dial-a-ride services. LogistiCare pioneered what is known as the “brokerage” model for delivering transportation services. Under the brokerage model, the funding entity outsources the management of their transportation benefit to a professional transportation management company, usually under a full-risk capitated financial arrangement. LogistiCare’s consistent record of cost saving and service quality has been instrumental in the increasing adoption of the NEMT broker model by state Medicaid agencies and MCOs throughout the country.
