In Texas, Providence of Texas has created an integrated system of care that encourages clients and families to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency. Every effort is made to provide services to clients in the least restrictive community-based setting available to achieve treatment goals. We offer individual, group and family therapy, intensive home-based and school-based services, telemedicine. Providence also provides management services to Camelot Community Care, Inc., which is a Child Placing Agency licensed by the state of Texas.

Providence has been providing services in Texas since 1998. Beginning with a small contract with the Texas Department of Juvenile Justice in El Paso, Providence of Texas increased services from one to fourteen counties in less than five years. This was accomplished only after establishing a record of high quality care and service to a hard-to-reach population of juvenile offenders.
Our services have expanded into other areas of behavioral health, telemedicine, foster care, and workforce development. Our current funding sources include Department of Family and Protective Services including both child and adult protective services, Juvenile Probation, most Medicaid and CHIP health plans as well as commercial plans e.g., IMHS/Cenpatico, Tri-care, Amerigroup, CompCare, and some school districts and others.
