In Texas, Providence offers services through the Providence Service Corporation of Texas, and A to Z In-Home Tutoring www.atoztutoring.com (“A to Z”), both wholly owned subsidiaries of Providence. Providence also provides management services to Camelot Community Care, Inc., which is a Child Placing Agency licensed by the state of Texas.

Providence of Texas has created an integrated system of care that encourages clients and families to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency. Every effort is made to provide services to clients in the least restrictive community-based setting available to achieve treatment goals. We offer individual, group and family therapy, and intensive home-based and school-based services.

Providence of Texas offers services for adjudicated youth under contracts held with a number of County Juvenile Probation departments. Beginning with a small contract with the Texas Department of Juvenile Justice in El Paso, Providence of Texas increased services from one to fourteen counties in less than five years. This was accomplished only after establishing a record of high quality care and service to a hard-to-reach population of juvenile offenders. Our funding sources have expanded into other areas and currently include ValueOptions, Juvenile Probation, and many Medicaid health plans and other county and state funding sources for social services.

As a licensed child care placing agency in the state of Texas, Camelot Community Care, Inc. recruits and trains families to be licensed as Therapeutic Foster Parents. The program is designed to provide maximum levels of accountability while maintaining the youth in his/her home environment. This not only decreases costs to the child-serving systems by reducing institutional placements, it allows the youth to develop skills in a real world setting which ultimately ensures his/her success.

A to Z In-Home Tutoring (“A to Z”) offers tailored one-on-one tutoring in the comfort and convenience of the client’s home. Our programs eliminate the visibility and potential embarrassment of the traditional classroom and replace it with confidence through private, focused tutoring and mentoring. Individualized programs are tailored to the unique needs of each child through an innovative pre-testing system. Students quickly become eager learners and are willing to try harder in subject areas that have become a source of frustration.

A to Z was founded in Nashville, TN and hires local certified teachers and Associate’s degreed professionals throughout the United States to work with local kids. A to Z’s corporate offices are located in Brentwood, TN.
