In an ongoing effort with Virginia Polytechnic and State University, Providence continues to look at evaluating and improving the Virtual Residential Program (VRP). Contracted in 2003, Dr. Bailey completed her initial outcome evaluation of the VRP Program in January of 2004, utilizing data from four states and including forty-two cases in her study. This updated report includes these forty-two cases, plus fifty-six more cases whose youth and families completed the VRP program since January 2004. As of March 1, 2007, 139 cases are represented in the evaluation of the VRP© program.
