Camelot’s services are particularly effective with youth that have been unsuccessful in traditional foster care programs, are stepping-down from residential living, or have experienced difficulty in community living and are in need of greater structure and a more flexible approach to therapeutic interventions in the foster or family home. All programs of Camelot Care Centers can be tailored to meet the needs of the individual child and family. Illinois programs serve children and adolescents who are under the guardianship of the State of Illinois and referred for intensive, specialized or therapeutic foster care services by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
Camelot’s Illinois foster care program includes Therapeutic Foster Care, foster care for Children With Sexual Behavior Problems, and Family Supported Adolescent Care, Home-Based Family Development programs, Adoption Services, Intensive In-Home Services, Crisis Intervention, Case Management, and service referral and coordination.
Family Preservation Community Services (FPCS) of Illinois provides adoption support for children in order to help them achieve their “forever family.” The program, successfully operating since 1998 has served countless families and children throughout the state of Illinois. Keeping in line with the goal of “human services without walls,” FPCS offers counseling, education, training and home study assessment in order to recommend prospective adoptive parents that are ready to meet the difficult needs of children who may not have done well with traditional foster care.
FPCS provides a range of services to families through the Illinois Adoption Program such as: subsidies until the child's 18th birthday or high school graduation, counseling, medical card, therapeutic day care and legal fees for adoption. Additionally, FPCS implements the state of Illinois' Enhanced Adoption Program offering aid in the way of a monthly stipend, career training and general support to eligible young adults who have graduated high school and are pursuing college careers.
FPCS is led by numerous professionals with a wide range of backgrounds and experience. This diverse and highly committed staff will continue to serve children and families in their respective communities and respond to newly identified community needs.
LogistiCare has been managing non-emergency medical (NEMT)and other social service transportation programs for government agencies and managed care organization (MCOs) since 1989. LogistiCare currently is the nation’s largest and most experienced manager of Medicaid NEMT programs for state governments and MCOs, providing over 17 million NEMT trips annually in 36 states and the District of Columbia. LogsitiCare has also managed other types of human service transportation programs such as ADA paratransit, school transportation, commercial ambulance, and elderly dial-a-ride services.
LogistiCare pioneered what is known as the “brokerage” model for delivering transportation services. Under the brokerage model, the funding entity outsources the management of their transportation benefit to a professional transportation management company, usually under a full-risk capitated financial arrangement. LogistiCare’s consistent record of cost saving and service quality has been instrumental in the increasing adoption of the NEMT broker model by state Medicaid agencies and MCOs throughout the country.
